Portugal | Monitoring Orienta4YEL strategies for tackling early leaving - Meeting with Portuguese local partners on inclusive quality learning environments and alternative learning modalities

On May 12, 2021, occurred, online, a meeting with the secondary education establishments involved in the Orienta4YEL Project in the Portuguese context. The theme was to share practices and experiences that promote inclusive quality learning environments and alternative learning modalities. The 142 students and their teachers had the opportunity to meet with former students from different professional courses that shared their successful pathways, their school and university experiences, and their professional situations. Students from secondary education establishments with Education and Training Courses/Professional Courses (ETC/PC) of the Leiria Region, partners of the project, had also the opportunity to ask questions and discuss the advantages of pursuing studies with former students and Orienta4YEL Project Polytechnic of Leiria staff.
This action is part of the strategy to tackling ESL, designed within the framework of the Orienta4YEL Project for the Portuguese contexts.
