On Tuesday, April 27, the members of CRiEDO Patricia Olmos and Anna Díaz held a meeting with teachers and students of the Terra Roja Secondary School of Santa Coloma de Gramenet. The objective of the meeting was to monitor the actions that this educational institution is carrying out to combat early school leaving in the framework of the Orienta4YEL Project.
The Terra Roja secondary school has been working since September on a pilot project with students from the 3rd and 4th year of ESO. The ÉXIT Project is based on a didactic-curricular methodology characterized by the interdisciplinary work of the curricular areas under the backbone of the didactic axis of the school-orchard.
Until that moment, all the actors involved, including the students, highlight the positive impact that the project is having on emotional well-being, positive self-perception towards learning ability and educational achievement. All the students show interest in accrediting ESO and continuing in an educational-formative path.
The students have made a video to present the ÉXIT Project and show how their participation in it is helping them to continue with their training: https://agora.xtec.cat/iesterraroja/portada-20-21/projecte-exit-grup-internivell-segon-cicle-de-leso/
